Sure they were hilarious at first but after seeing basically the same thing over and over it's just not really funny anymore. It's like how when you first discover knock knock jokes you find them hilarious but then all knock knock jokes, even ones you haven't heard, don't make you laugh. Then the only knock knock jokes that are funny are ones that turn out to not be knock knock jokes at all.
